Highly recommend this property for a trip to Dubrovnik. I stayed with 3 friends and we found it met all our needs. The location is fantastic right in the heart of the city walls and so walking distance to all the local attractions. Cars aren’t allowed within the city walls so it’s a 4 minute walk from Ploce gate and also there is a flight of stairs to go up to tte apartment so be aware of this if you have a lot of luggage. The hosts gave such a detailed check in process and even kindly arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport. They were so understanding that our timings changed due to our flight being severely delayed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculately clean. I would definitely stay again if I come back to Dubrovnik. Thank you again Isabelle, Marjia and Viktor.

Excellent experience! The apartment location was in the center of Old Town, and the host provided detailed instructions for each part (check-in, daily activities, check-out, etc.) of the rental. We experience travel challenges due to the weather, and the host reserved a room for us, at a great rate, just in case our flight was canceled. I would recommend this apartment and the rental agency to friends and family anytime.

This was a dream of a stay for us. I travelled with two other friends it was the perfect size for us. Isabelle, Medina and Viktor were extremely hospitable. They clearly communicated check in, helped us with a number of minor obstacles that occurred during our time in Dubrovnik and were always quick to respond. Nice and surprisingly big apartment in the very center of Dubrovnik. Only 2-3 minutes from Ploče Gate. Best choice for quick trip to the old town and good solution for kids - everything is about two minutes walking around: Maritime museum, beach, old port, market, ice cream and "Walk of Shame" of course (you'll see this steps from the window). The apartment is ideal for 4 people - it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's cool even in the midday and quiet even in the midnight. It's a little bit tricky to find the door but once you found it you'll not be disappointed. The owner is really helpful.

Wonderful place to stay while in Dubrovnik. Great communication from the first message. The location of the apt is unbeatable, you are close to everything. They organized a transfer from the airport and were waiting for us as soon as we got into town. There was a little problem with the water heater on the second day which they fixed immediately and even left us a bottle of wine. We highly recommend this place. Had an amazing experience here! Isabelle and Merima were so easy to communicate with and so accommodating with our check in/check out times. They offered an airport transfer (with additional charge) that made finding the apartment very easy. Location of the apartment is great, right by Ploce gate. Only word of warning is that it is directly next to a bar that is quite loud at night (La Bodega)- this didn’t pose an issue for us since they closed by midnight, but I suspect their hours in non-covid times might be later. Cleanliness of the apartment is unmatched, as an optional daily cleaning service is offered. Highly, highly recommend- we loved our time here!

We are a family of 4(2 adults & 2 teenagers) & stayed at the apartment in August 2020. It was amazing. Location - the location of the apartment is fantastic. It’s in the city walls and is less than 3 minutes from everywhere. This was a huge help as we could come back home to rest in between visiting or when it got too hot outside. There are lovely restaurants, supermarket, a quaint market. The best thing was seeing the “walk of shame steps”from the bedroom window. Although it’s in the centre, because of Dubrovnik city rules, there is very little noise after 11. The house is well insulated and with the windows shut, we didn’t hear anything! Communication - Isabelle was brilliant all through the booking and the responses were extremely quick. We even received a brochure through email with all the information about the city which was very helpful. Check in & check out - our ferry arrived early into Dubrovnik and I requested whether we could check in early. They were very accommodating and we checked in early. Our flight from Dubrovnik was late in the afternoon and I asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere. But Isabelle offered us the flexibility of staying until we had to leave for airport, which was much needed! Facilities - the apartment is very well furnished. We even cooked a few times when we were there. The washing machine and iron were a god send after a long holiday! Having 2 bathrooms in the apartment was very good for us as the teenagers do spend hours in the bathroom! The apartment was sparkling clean & loved the little touches. All in all, we felt very much at home. Thank you for letting us stay in the beautiful house. We had a fantastic time. Loved every minute of it!

This apartment is in a perfect location. You are literally a few steps away from the centre of the old town. This can be a little noisy at night but this didn’t really bother us as the location was so central. Isabelle was so helpful from the moment we booked to the moment we left, she helped answer any questions we had. We arranged airport transfer with her and our driver we really helpful with local tips and history. He dropped us off at the gates of the old town where we were met and walked to our apartment. Again we received more tips and showed where to find things and given a tour of the apartment and a map of the town. Was a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

On top of all this, there are no stairs to get to the old building. But there is inside it to reach the apartment. But the other positives even make us forget that. This was an amazing location...close to everything! the apartment was sparkling clean and was fully equipped with everything from soap to body wash, extra blankets and a water kettle. The hostess was incredibly responsive and helpful! Having a driver come pick us up and take us to the city and then having someone else walk us up directly to the location was so helpful, especially after a long day of travel. It reduced the stress for us and she made great recommendations for the area too! When staying in Dubrovnik, you want to stay here!

We were very comfortable 3 days in the secret apartment IV. We arrived one Saturday night, much later than we had planned, after some problems with the ferry from sumartin to makarska. We called Viktor and Wanda and we had no problem staying with them when we arrived. Wanda is very kind and attentive and explained everything very well. The apartment is beautiful and has absolutely everything. Two bathrooms, internet, tv, computer, kitchen utensils etc. In addition to 11 to 12 there is a cleaning service that changes towels and cleans the apartment. The location is unbeatable being located in the very center of the old town of Dubrovnik. Through the window of one of the rooms you can see the famous stairs where the scene of the embarrassment of Cercei of Game of Thrones was filmed. To put a "but" would say that we were disturbed by the bells of the church of St Blas who played on Sunday from 7 to 8 in the morning without stopping. If you are a light sleeper, it is convenient to bring earplugs or music, even though the house has good insulation.

Merci également pour leurs bons conseils (restos, coins à privilégier pour essayer d'éviter la foule sur l'île de Lokrum...). Une personne très sympa est venue nous chercher au point de dépose taxi le plus proche de l'appartement (la vieille ville de Dubrovnik est entièrement piétonne) et nous a raccompagnés au taxi de retour... Une adresse à retenir. Même s'il y a parfois énormément de monde dans la vieille ville, escaladez les ruelles haut perchées, vous vous retrouverez au calme !

This is a fabulous apartment in Old town. Centrally located, great restaurants all around, live music you could open the windows to every night, or close the windows and have a nice quite evening. The hosts were great about coordinating check in/out and storing our luggage so we could have a nice afternoon in Old Town without having to cart our suitcases around. We had some equipment in the kitchen, we went for breakfast at a nearby hotel. The street was not disturbed, and the church next to it knocked on only six. This apartment location was unbeatable, a few steps from the main pedestrian street of Dubrovnik, on the second floor which is only reached by stairs, but the apartment was very big, fully equipped kitchen, good room with bed, two bathrooms and one living room. Noise was not a problem here. Most importantly was Wanda's checkin/checkout, greeting us from the outside of the pile gate, then with complete info about the apartment, and amazing details about the city, restaurants, grocery stores and things to do! We stayed in the Zaljarica apartment (2 beds 2 bathrooms) just off the Stradun in the Old Town. We loved it! We arrived earlier than expected (about 13:00) and were met outside the apartment. The representative from Mir0 let us in and gave us lots of tips for excursions and restaurants including plotting them for us on the map! The apartment itself was spacious and clean - there were two of us but it would have been ideal for four people. The kitchen was very helpful for preparing food bought from the market square outside! The location was 5* - central for everything including the Stradun, Market, Harbour and shops. I couldn't fault it. Within the apartment I found the beds quite firm and pillows not particularly comfortable, but the air conditioning was great with the hot weather and the Wi-fi pretty fast. Isabelle who runs the apartments was always on hand via email for any questions, including changes to check-in and check-out times, which provided great peace of mind during our trip. I wouldn't hesitate to return and stay here again.

The apartment was great, with a good sized bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and two seperate shower rooms which was handy for two females getting ready at the same time! When we arrived at reception we were greeted by Wanda, who I had read lots about in previous reviews. She lived up to her expectations, as she was so friendly and helpful and gave us some top tips which came in handy during our trip. The location was the best thing about our apartment, we were located just off the main street of the town. Yes, the apartment was up a few flights of stairs with no lift in the building, but if you dont like stairs you shouldnt go to Dubrovnik, because they are everywhere! Overall I would definitely recommend these apartments, and I hope one day I can return.

Fun experience staying in old town. The apartment is comfortable. The kitchen is very compact, but sufficient for breakfast and snacks. Love the views out of the windows! Cathedral stain glass and bells on one side. Another window has the view of a long narrow street leading to stairs going to another cathedral. It was so relaxing to have a light breeze drifting through sunny windows while listening to a classical guitarist playing below in the afternoon. Another fond memory for me is watching a brigade of workers efficiently remove rubbish with hand carts throughout the old town in early mornings. No wonder the town sparkles when people start streaming through the gates around 8:45!

We were so pleased with the clean efficient MirO apartment(upper story Old Town) that gave us a good comfortable base to explore Old Town Dubrovnik. The beds were so comfortable; everything you need is right there. We shopped for snacks at a close by grocery store and also had access to the Farmer's Market just a few blocks away. We absolutely loved the peaceful quiet atmosphere of the entire area. Isabelle and Victor(the managers) gave us detailed information ahead of time on how to find the MirO Office and had their hosts (Bozo and Wanda) help us with any questions. They were all outstanding and so helpful. We also received a great referral for a day tour to Montenegro. Dubrovnik Riviera Tours is wonderful; Petar(the owner) is very good at giving a great history of Croatia and is the perfect tour guide. We feel so blessed and thankful to have stayed at MirO Apartments.

We are a family of four (2 kids, 10&12). This apartment is in the PERFECT location. Easily get to all the sites in a few minutes. The central location makes it easy to stop by the apartment to rest, cool down, etc. The washer works very well, wifi fast, two separate bedrooms each with a bath. The staff were excellent. Recommend you have them arrange transportation from the airport. They allowed us to store our bags at the office (different location) after check out. Strongly recommend that you stay here if you visit Dubrovnik.

This was a big apartment with a bedroom,living room which had a convertible wall bed, full kitchen and dinette. It also had 2 full baths which was wonderful. Next to the church and a La Bodega restuarant below the apartment. The location was great with lots of cafes, souvenir shops and restuarants. Had several dinners in Nishta restuarant which serves only vegetrian / vegan food. The only and the best in Dubronvik. Special mention to our Bozo who received us at arrival and departure times. He was very kind to help us carry our suitcases! Really enjoyed our stay.

We stay in Secret IV Apartment, which located inside the Old Town (at the eastern end) near the port and away from most tour groups. Excellent location so that you can walk to anywhere within the town in minutes' time. Very spacious room with a equiped kitchen and good for travellers who want preparing meals themselves. Not much view if you look outside the window but you can still feel the town's historical atmosphere. This helps making Dubrovnik a memorable trip.

We had a great stay in this apartment over the New Year's holidays. Dealing with Isabelle at Butterfly Services and the staff at Miro was a pleasure. She was very prompt and responsive to my inquiries. The staff went above and beyond for our transfer and check-in. Our plane was diverted and we arrived by bus at 2:30am. Maria (?) was wonderful to take our calls and come in the middle of the night to get us settled in. Fresh towels were brought every day and if we had needed any help the staff was always available by phone. They were so friendly and personable! The apartment was clean, comfortable and modern. The bathrooms were great. Providing a desktop computer was a nice touch. The wi-fi worked fine. The kitchen would have been a bit small to do much cooking, but there is really no need with so many options just out the door. The location of this apartment is fantastic if you like to be right in the center. It is practically on the Stradun. We could watch the concerts and fireworks from our window! I definitely recommend this apartment for a perfect stay in Dubrovnik!

We dont often stay in apartments so I was a little wary but we couldnt have been more pleasantly surprised. From the welcome we had to the end of the time spent you couldnt fault it. The apartment was bright, spotless, spacious with two bathrooms and so quiet with the double glazing and there was a computer desk all set up for me too. It was fully equipped and I would definitely return as the location was second to none in the heart of the Old Town. We had to move into a hotel for our last night as we decided to stay an extra night but to be honest much preferred our apartment. Dubrovnik is beautiful and you wont be disappointed but you must book this apartment to be guaranteed an excellent stay.

We had a nice stay here. The ladies that work in the office are friendly and helpful. The apartment is at a great location, although there was pretty loud music at a restaurant most nights. The apartment was safe and clean and if we were coming back to Dubrovnik would stay here again.

Isabelle & Viktor of Butterfly Services did a great job helping us coordinate a group of friends with places to stay in Dubrovnik. Isabelle spent a lot of time helping us to find the locations that best served the needs of our group & was very prompt in her responses. The property descriptions were very accurate. La Dolce Vita & Secret IV were both exactly as described, clean & very centrally located in the old town. Viktor went out of his way to give us advice on places to eat & drink & his recommendations were spot on. I would definitely recommend Butterfly Services highly - you won't be disappointed!

"Great apartments. I stayed in the two bedroom apartment in the old town which had everything you needed and more. These apartments are great for couples and Family's we had 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms and all the cooking facility's you needed. Plenty of restaurants down stairs. The noise we first though being so central might be a problem at night which this was not the case at all. After spending 2 nights in the 2 bedroom apartments we moved to the Studio apartment which was a minute walk from the old city walls and we had amazing views of the water and felt this was also just enough as well in regards to size of the room, location and facility's it ticked all the boxes.Trip adviser can have many mixed reviews however i have stayed in plenty of hotels and travelled the world and this apartment chain was by far the best decision i have made in a long time. Enjoy your time in Croatia it's an amazing place and be sure to ask all the staff for any tips on what the see they where all a wealth of knowledge. Safe Travels."

“All correspondence about the apartments beforehand was responded to quickly. We were met at the airport and transferred to the
Secret IVApartment which is within the historic walls. It is in a fabulous position right around the corner from St Blaise, the main cathedral as well as the Stradum. There are no stairs to the building but about 40 stairs inside to the apartment. We wanted some extra space for our adult son and it was perfect. He had his own bedroom and bathroom and we had ours. In between was a small kitchen with a table and chairs, a few appliances, a stove and a fridge which was enough for us as we only had breakfast there. If you didn't need the second bedroom you could use it as a lounge area. Everything was very clean and new. Help was at hand if we needed it. The recommended restaurants were fabulous and we walked everywhere as we were not far from anything. It was lovely at night to hear music from the cathedral or square but otherwise it was very quiet. We had a wonderful time and were very happy with the service. They collected us from the apartment on our last day and walked us to their agency just outside the gates where we left our bags until later in the day when we had arranged for their driver to return us to the airport. I would definitely stay there again.

”Travelled to Dubrovnik at the last leg of a 3-week vacation covering all of Croatia and Montenegro. With husband (46 yrs) and two kids (ages 4 and 6 years). Apt Secret IV was wonderful and very clean. Lovely 2 bdrm each with own ensuite. Perfect location in heart of Old City (which is a must - it is absolutely magical). Not loud at all. Laundry but no dryer. Viktor was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend. Note that Old City Dub is car-free and surrounding it is very hard to park. To stay in Old City, you'll need to schlep your luggage into/out of the Old City from the outside walls, which was a bit of a challenge leaving at 5am with an overtired 4 year old but it was so worth it!”

“ Our apartment Secret IV was in the absolutely best location - steps from the St. Blaise church & convenient to everything without climbing lots of steps. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths! plus kitchen. Great! Groceries were near by and everything was within an easy walk.

We only got to stay in this apartment for one night on our final stay in Dubrovnik, but we were blown away by its location, both in its proximity to the main stradun but also its charm looking out onto the little side streets. We loved the sounds of the guartist playing outside the restaurants below, like our own personal seranade, but if you wanted quiet, with the windows shut it was also very peaceful. The apartment was modern, spacious and incredibly clean. We wish we could have stayed longer, its a true hidden gem, where we hope to stay again one day! Butterfly services who we booked through I couldn't recommend highly enough. We have booked several apartments with them in various locations for ourselves and our family and they always proved to be helpful, reliable, knowledgable and always looked out for our best interests. Thank you Victor & Isabelle, you helped make our wedding holiday in Dubrovnik the best!

After consulting some 30 odd apts and houses in Dubrovnik, I was relieved to find the Secret IV Apt, conveniently and centrally located in the flat part of the old town and a stone's throw from all the major monuments - just idea for our family vacation with a child and grandparents. The apt is elegant, completely renovated, clean and tastefully decorated with careful attention paid to dove-tailed detail. (there is brilliant use of the limited space!) We would have liked to have more kitchen amenities but actually enjoyed more the many casual restaurants within walking distance. We were not able to work the television or computer and would have appreciated instruction manuals in English or French(!) Our driver was punctual, spoke excellent English and gave good insight into Croatia for us first time visitors. The video of the apt was invaluable and accurately illustrated the space and setting. Viktor and Isabelle were very helpful in providing addresses and advice, and aided us with our transfers,
