Villa La Tropezienne is a beautifully restored 19th century property with private swimming pool and Mediterranean gardens with wonderful views located in an enchanting private neighbourhood just outside of the Old Town. Villa La Tropezienne was completely renovated in 2015 following several years of reconstruction. Painstaking reconstruction took place under the watchful supervision of the Croatian Ministry of Culture and the Conservation Department in Dubrovnik. Wherever possible, experts restored architectural and decorative elements to their original glory. The villa combines preserved original features- beautifully emphasized by the sophisticated Scandinavian design and up-to-date amenities.

Main house

Ground floor: There is a living area, kitchen and dining area. The spaciously bright living area depicts the pure minimalist style found throughout the property. The light coloured walls and floor are pleasantly contrasted by the blue and turquoise shades of the Scandinavian style chairs and sofas, providing an appealing coastal ambience. As you move towards the left of the entrance hall, you will find yourself within the pleasant dining room and kitchen area. This open-plan spacious area combining both dining function and a place for preparing meals, features clear white walls with simplistic wooden furniture creating a contemporary impression. The complete space is dominated by the central design element of the room – the long, minimalistic wooden dining table complimented by white wire chairs.

First floor: There are two master bedrooms with en-suite and a reading room. The bright reading room is a wonderful cozy retreat. With book-in-hand, as you look up and peer through the large window, you can admire the pine trees in front of the university and the peaceful Croatian sky. The elegant bedrooms feature double bed/twin bed, writing desk, wardrobe, safe, en-suite bathroom two washbasins and separate toilet. They offer striking views alongside the greenery of the garden and /or of the waters of the blue Adriatic Sea.

Second floor: There are 2 minimalistic bedrooms with en-suite. As you take the original wooden staircase to the upper floor, you come to the enchanting bedrooms, dominated by the white beamed ceilings. The cozy sloping roof provides a charmingly sweet ambience to the rooms and effectively complements the minimalistic clear design of the furnishings. The bedrooms feature double bed/twin bed, wardrobe, safe, en-suite bathroom with toilet. The wash basin is perfectly built into a white cupboard in the bedroom space. This area can be hidden if needed. One of the bedrooms has wonderful views of Dubrovnik Old Town and its majestic walls and the other west-facing room looks out onto the rustic stone walls with lush green plants.

Cottage in the garden beside the villa:

There is a self-contained suite with en-suite bathroom. Pleasantly tucked away on the western side of the villa you find an even more intimate accommodation unit. The suite features a double bed or twin beds, wardrobe with built-in writing desk, safe, Satellite TV and en-suite bathroom with shower. This leads out through white patio doors upon a gorgeous terrace – all for yourself.

Cottage on the large first floor stoned terrace

Close to the main entrance, there is a comfortable double room and one deluxe apartment.

The comfortable room features double bed, a wardrobe with built-in writing desk, safe, modern en-suite bathroom with shower. The room leads onto the terrace and has a secluded private entrance. This is an ideal option for those who wish to have further privacy and a good choice suitable for staff accommodation.

The modern design apartment features a refreshing living room with sofa bed and Satellite TV. There is a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher and kettle. For those who wish to cook or prepare food themselves the unit also includes an oven, a microwave, and a cooking hob. The double bedroom has a wardrobe with built-in writing desk, safe and en-suite bathroom with shower. The apartment accommodates 4 persons and would suit a family with young children

Upon the middle terrace you can find an outdoor bowling surface (bo?alište) attracting the welcome shade of trees and plants.
