Ploce which is one of the most desirable locations in Dubrovnik. It is a minute walk from Banje beach and a short 5- minutes walk to the Old Town. From its terrace, you will enjoy the breathtaking views overlooking the historic city walls, the Island of Lokrum and the infinity of the crystal blue Sea which all appear so close that you can almost reach out and grab them.
The apartment is housed in a beautiful XVI summer residence that was renovated in 2003. The house has lots of character and the owner kept all its charms and the interior décor is a mix of antique furniture pieces combined with modern amenities. La Maison d’Eté is perfect for a group of friends or a family wanting to be within walking distance to the wonderful attractions of the Old Town but just a little removed for relaxation.
La Maison d’Eté is situated on the ground floor of a Renaissance style villa. The apartment has kept its original ambiance with high ceilings and thick walls that retain the cool air which is perfect during the hot summer days. The apartment itself enjoys lots of natural light with large windows to welcome in its wonderful views. With its two bedrooms and extra lounge area that can be converted in a 3rd bedroom, it can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably.
The main bedroom consists of a double bed, A/C. The room is filled with natural sunlight and the views overlooking the Adriatic are to die for. The second bedroom comes with two single beds, wardrobes, a table with two chairs and A/C.
The living room area is separated in two rooms. There is a lounge area for those who would like to isolate themselves as they enjoy a quiet time of reading, writing or meditating. The living room also has a sofa that can be used as extra bed. Modern amenities A/C, TV, Satellite, DVD, CD player can be enjoyed there. It is a great place to relax after a hard day of swimming and sunbathing all while admiring the beautiful views of Dubrovnik. The dining space consists of an antique wooden table and chairs.
The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped with everything to make your stay a hassle free one. The bathroom has a shower, bath with jaccuzzi, heated towel rail and a separate WC.
The best part of this apartment is the large terrace running along the house offering beautiful views as you overlook the Adriatic Sea, City Walls and Lokrum Island! Great location, about 2 minutes walk to the gates of the old town. It's right beside the beach and in comparison to a lot of places in Dubrovnik, there are very little steps! There are 2 food shops near to pick up a bit of breakfast or lunch and there is a bakery just beside the old town. The views from the front of the flat are amazing. I would highly recommend staying here to both families and groups of friends. It's quiet enough where it is however is a short walk to the restaurants and nightlife for anyone interested. The host was very helpful and accommodating. 5 stars!

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday in Dubrovnik and found the apartment to be perfect! We couldn't fault it and will recommend Dubrovnik Chic Rentals to all of our friends. The location couldn't have been better as we were opposite the beach and able to swim in the sea every day but then come back to the privacy of our own terrace to read and relax in the sunshine. The view from the terrace was beautiful. It was also less than 10 minutes to the Old Town on foot. The apartment was very clean and had everything we could have needed: lots of clean bath towels, beach towels, kitchen utensils, toilet roll etc. The host Ivana met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The service you provided was very efficient and you gave us all the information we needed to prepare for our holiday. The airport transfers were punctual and the vehicles were comfortable. The driver who picked us up on arrival was very friendly and helpful; his level of English was impressive and he told us lots of interesting facts about tourism in Croatia and the country's history. We were very pleased with the
La Maison de l´Ete appartment lovely view and great location. So easy to get to the old town and everywhere else with the taxi stop just by the city gates. We were met at the airport organised by you, very comfortable for us traveling with children and quite an amount of luggage. As we came to the appartment we were met by the landlady and she kindly let us put all our luggage into the room she had cleaned, and let us change into our bathing suites. So we could enjoy the beach and have lunch at Banje beach while she finished the appartment and got everything ready for us. One thing we were a bit disturbed by, was the loud music from banje beach some days they played from the morning through the whole day and night. Other than that everything was just lovely, and very hot, but for us the heat was lovely too, as we do not get a lot of that in Norway! :-) And the appartment had Air condition which was great!

La Maison de L Ete apartment in Dubrovnik was outstanding. We were warmly greeted by Ivana and made to feel very welcome. The apartment is in an excellent location. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we spent every morning on the terrace having breakfast. The walk in to Old Town only took a few minutes and made it very convenient to see everything. Hi Isabelle We had a wonderful stay and I think the apartment was just fab. However YOU were the best part…so helpful and delightful! I have been to Dubrovnik many times as a child and teen - usually with my parents or on a student budget. When it was time to visit for the first time in over 25 years this summer with my own children, I was determined to find a great location.
Maison D’ete did not disappoint! It is literally 200m from the gates of Dubrovnik and right above Banje Beach. The view of the Old Town and ocean from the apartment is breathtaking! The apartment is full stocked with dishes, appliances, EVERYTHING a person could need. We spent all our time outside on one of the two patio areas. Ivana the caretaker was very helpful. I would recommend this spot to anyone I know going to Dubrovnik. The value and most of all the LOCATION is superb~!

Your notes were very prompt and professional but with a personal touch which to me felt welcoming and secure in booking with your agency. It was wonderful to be met at the airport by the driver you had arranged. He was punctual and welcoming. My husband enjoyed speaking with him as we drove into Dubrovnik. Ivana met us at the door of her home (ours for the week) with a big welcome which was lovely after more than twenty four hours of traveling! The apartment was impeccably clean and perfect for our family of three. We enjoyed all of the art work Ivana's family had displayed as well as the beautiful antique furniture. The views were everything we had hoped they would be. We enjoying breakfasts and a few glasses of wine out on the lovely terrace. Anything one would need was available to us within the apartment in terms of linens and kitchen supplies. Having two markets so close was very convenient. I am a flight attendant for American Airlines so over the years my family and I have been very fortunate to have been able to travel to different places. Dubrovnik is a very unique city and we loved it! We have stayed in various apartments in other foreign cities and by far La Maison de l'Ete is our favorite! "Dear Isabelle, Home from our European adventure and it was a huge success. We loved La Maison d'Ete. Everything about it was perfect for us. My husband originally faught me on the location thinking we should be in the Old Town but I convinced him otherwise and we were all so happy with that decision. As a family of 5 (2 parents and 3 "children" aged 17, 20, & 22) booking rooms was sometimes challenging. La Maison d'Ete was perfect for us; lots of room, well equipped, clean, amazing view, fantastic location and a very friendly accommodating hostess in Ivana. My only concern prior to leaving was the beach bar as you had kindly warned us it could be noisy but the fabulous windows block out any noise and it didn't matter as we were often the ones up late drinking kamikazes on the beach. We loved it and would return again given the opportunity and would certainly recommend to anyone travelling to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. “We had a wonderful time, thank you. The apartment “La Maison de l’Ete” was just fine. It was very spacious with plenty of room for our big family, and Ivana was a wonderful host. The only problem we had was that the club on the beach played music until very late at night. Other than that, it was perfect. We couldn't really hear it with the windows closed. But it was very warm, so we kept the windows open. We could have turned on the air conditioning. But, it was so nice out! Transfer was efficient and easy. Thank you for arranging! The information packet you sent was a great help. Thank you for sending it! We ate at many of the restaurants and had a great time. I might recommend that you mark where they are on a map - we had a challenge finding some of them. Although, wandering the streets looking for the restaurants was a pleasant experience.
