We loved our stay at this apartment. We stayed with our two teenage children and found the apartment spacious and very well equipped. WiFi was excellent, beds comfy, bathrooms clean and modern. The location couldn’t have been better. The square below is busy and we liked the hustle and bustle outside the window. The tours do not start until 9.30 or so and restaurants etc close by midnight so noise was not an issue for us. The square itself is beautiful and had a shop, restaurants and little bars on the Jesuit Steps. The pizzeria downstairs was good value and pizzas were delicious. Also a great sea food restaurant Nextdoor. Communication from host was excellent and this meant that the arrival and departure was seamless. Any questions were answered very quickly. Lock box system was perfect for our late arrival and host offered nearby facility to store luggage on departure. We would highly recommend this apartment. The location is hard to beat!

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location . Right in the middle of such a fantastic city. Literally 30 seconds walk to lovely restaurants, bars, a minute from the Main Street. Real bonus was about a 2 minute walk to one of the doorways in the wall out to the sea as the city was so hot, so amazing to cool down with a swim, grab a drink in the bars on the way back and then chill out in your lovely air conditioned place. The 2 bedroom apartment was great, spacious with everything you could need. Fantastic location, right in the centre of the old town, with no steps to reach the building (there are some inside as the apartment is on the 1st floor). All this made things really easy to get about with a small child and a pushchair. As it is a central location and above a pizzeria on the square there is some noise in the evening, but it didn’t last until late into the night. The team were warm and welcoming with great communication. Thank you for a great stay, we would certainly recommend the apartment.

This place was amazing! Right in the middle of Dubrovnik old town overlooking a market, you get a true feeling of the liveliness of Dubrovnik-with the restaurants below you have great smells, the tours giving their information in various languages and the 12:00 noon pigeon feeding. Peek out the large windows to the right and the there you can see the infamous steps of The Game of Thrones. Inside is bright, big and clean. We could hardly believe our good luck. Inside the 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms ( one with a bath and one with a nice shower)is a plus. Air conditioning worked well for the hotter afternoons. My husband loved the washer and I loved the bath at the end of long days of sightseeing. Also, a very convenient grocery store just 1 minute away to stock up on any supplies and foods you might like to have in the compact kitchen that had everything we needed. Some noise at night from the restaurants, but everything quieted down by 10:30. Isabelle was easy to reach for any questions and very helpful with suggestions. Thank you team! The location was perfect - great restaurants right outside the door, in a flat area of Dubrovnik, grocery store right across the square. She help arrange a tour to Kotor and transportation to the airport (at 5:30 am) with Petar - Dubrovnik Riviera Tours (Petar was great!). We were able to access our apartment when we arrived on the noon catamaran from Hvar. Everything was perfect.

What can I say about staying directly in the walking path of the “shame steps” on GOT….perfect! Spacious, clean, all amenities promised in new condition, loads of storage. Great for family, friends or a couple. Even though we were one floor above a busy area, we were never bothered by noise. One night we even opened the windows and sat in them to people watch. Temperature was in the 90’s outside but inside was comfortable and cool. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay in this gem. Lastly, a big thanks to the management that allowed us to store our luggage between check out and our ferry departure. They even helped us with printing our passes which was a HUGE! This property was in an excellent location with all sites of interest within walking distance. Plenty of delicious food options nearby as well as a food market. Isabelle was very easy to communicate with via text, Marija was pleasant and came to check on us the first day and gave us lots of travel tips. Airport transfer was coordinated for us and was so easy. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. A/C and a Smart TV were a definite plus especially for our kids! The location is in a prime location next to two great restaurants so there is some noise going into the night, but this was not too much of an issue for us and the kids were able to fall asleep just fine.

The location is great, right in the center of the old city, you don't need to climb steps, it's very convenient to go anywhere, you can come back to rest and go to the toilet anytime when you are tired, there are restaurants and supermarkets downstairs 2. There is no better location in Dubrovnik! Less than five minutes from the old port where you can catch a ferry to Lokrum, Cavtat or Elefiti islands. We highly recommend any/all of these excursions if spending more than a couple of days in Dubrovnik as the town is quite small. Everything in the old town is within less than a ten minute walk. Pizza Castro next door has fabulous pizza, plus there is a small market (Konzum) literally 50 feet across the square, that has necessities. As has been mentioned, the music at night can be a problem for light sleepers so bring ear plugs/noise canceling devices if needed. Also, the smell of pizza does waft through the apartment. Not a problem for us, just be aware. Only one of the bathrooms has an enclosed shower. Apartment is on second floor (American), first floor European. Communication with Merima was fantastic - always immediate and helpful. Also must mention how appreciative we were to have a late checkout as there was not an immediate reservation after us. Our ferry wasn’t until 16:00 and they allowed us to stay until we needed to leave for it. VERY HELPFUL AND APPRECIATED!!!! A fabulous experience and highly recommend!!

Un des avantages est qu’il n’y a aucune Marche pour accéder à l’immeuble ce qui est pratique quand on arrive à pied dans la ville. La cuisine est fonctionnelle avec lave linge et lave vaissellle ce qui permet de déjeuner dans l’appartement et profiter de la climatisation. La place est calme la nuit et les fenêtres bien insonorisées. Fabulous apartment in the best location in Old Town. Located on a beautiful square with a farmers market and grocery store, but very quiet. Apartment was very clean and had all the necessities: towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, plates, silverware, etc. Air conditioner in main living area and master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a fan that helps pull in the air conditioning from the main living area. The apartment is very spacious. We had 3 adults in our party and we all had plenty of privacy and never felt crowded. Check-in was easy and the hosts have a location to store luggage after check-out. The hosts arranged for airport pick-up, which was much needed after our long flight from the US. Would highly recommend and stay here again. Thank you for being a great host! This apartment is centrally located in Old Town Dubrovnik, with a great location right near the famous Game of Thrones "shame" stairs. There's no substitute for staying in Old Town itself so you can enjoy it after the cruise ship passengers leave for the day. We only booked the night before (after our previous hosts unexpectedly cancelled) and we were substantially delayed in our arrival due to an unexpected border closure and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Dolce vita in old town was amazing. The apartment is in the heart of Old Town, at the base of the "Walk of Shame" stairs for Game of Throne lovers. So much to see right out the door. The staff at the apartment has been so kind and helpful. They met us right at the gate to guide us to the apartment when we arrived. There is a market right on the plaza where the apartment is and several excellent restaurants. We are a family of 4, so the 2 bedrooms, sitting/dining room and kitchen were just perfect. This was the first stop on our Croatian adventure and it is going to be very hard to beat.

The flat could not be better located, in the centre of the old town. With double glaze windows, one could hardly hear the noice from the outside. A good supermarket was a few feet away, so was a bakery and delicious ice cream. There are so many restaurants around Dubrovnik which makes it very easy to have a wonderful meal. One is guided by TripAdvisor to identify really great restaurants. Also, the flat has a most detailed information pamphlet to inform guests of key points. Frankly, it is the best information kit I have seen and I have stayed in 50+ all over the world. The flat is small, but it has everything one needs. The kitchen is totally funtionable and we cooked one meal there to enjoy the place. The Smart TV worked well with Netflix so we enjoyed a good movie on the only day which rained during our stay. In sum, I highly recommend this place and will be back when I am next in Dubrovnik. Our stay was made more enjoyable because of the flat. Any questions were quickly answered. Isabelle arranged transport from and to the airport. I had visited the Balkans on business many, many times and have the pleasure of visiting Dubrovnik several times, but this time, somehow, I enjoyed it even more. I will be back.

Wanda met us outside the wall and took us to the apartment, which was a short walk through the city. Wanda was wonderful and gave us great advice. She also booked our transport back to airport. We stayed here for 6 nights in month of May , and chose the 2 Bedroom Apartment in the Gundulic Square ! We Loved every bit of our stay! The Apartment is immaculately clean, with the perfect location near the main street of Stradun, in Old town of Dubrovnik! Daily farmers market is just below the apartment every morning, a supermarket across the street and many restaurants near by! It is a fully equipped apartment, even with a washing machine, so that you wont fall short of anything and their owners makes sure you feel at home and comfortable with such friendly service and amazing hospitality! The reception area is 5 -7 mins walk from this apartment, but the hotel is so quick and responsive through emails with daily cleaning service that you wont have any complain whatsoever. This house located perfect spot. Easy to go to city wall, rector palace, and museums. The house is super clean! And there is no problem to use hot water ;) it is nice place to rest after look aroud city. The host is also awesome. They giving us a lot of trip adviser like good restaurant, transit information and good viewpoints...If someone looking for a place to stay like your home and go somewhere in old town just by walk, I highly recommend this place:). Appartement parfait pour un séjour en famille au cœur de la vieille ville de Dubrovnik. Propre, spacieux et confortable, au pied du marché quotidien de fruits et légumes et d'un supermarché. C'est idéal pour découvrir la ville à pied. La plage Banje est située à 10 min à pied. Animé le soir donc un peu bruyant, mais c'est le prix à payer pour être au centre de tout. Climatisation dans le salon mais pas dans les chambres donc chaud la nuit en été. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

This place was amazing. The staff arranged an airport pickup, met us at the gate, walked us to the apartment, and sat down and explained their favorite things about the city (sites, restaurants, bars etc). The location is incredible, center of Old Town right near the steps from the "Shame" scene in Game of Thrones. Apartment was great for our family of 4 - the girls loved the cats that liked to lounge on the outside steps and thought their room was comfy. Great washer machine. Only quirks to mention - could use a shower curtain, and the air conditioning seemed close to maxed out in the summer heat and I would have preferred it to get a little cooler or an extra fan, but solved that with a couple of cold beers. :) I highly recommend this place if going to Dubrovnik.

A gorgeous, clean, spacious flat in the heart of Old Town. Everyone who helped facilitate my check-in and getting spare keys for the other tenants was so kind, responsive and offered some great tips on what to see and do. The only potential discomfort that US tourists might find is that the air conditioning is centralized in the living room and the bedrooms don't get as cool, but I think that's more a condition of how flats are laid out in Croatia (and many parts of Europe). I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

It was very cool to step out of this apartment right onto a lively square in the centre of old town. If u want to be in the thick of things (or be able to see old town early before the crowds arrive), this location is perfect. Bozo was great for check in & help with luggage & gave many recommendations. The place was a great size & had all the amenities needed.

The location to start with is amazing, it's in the middle of everything. The flat it's self is stunning, well maintained and very homely. I can not say anything bad about the place at all. The welcome was really nice and very informative, the flat was super clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Dubrovnik. The place will not fail you at all. The place can not be situated any better than it was. We had all our questions answered and were even recommended some amazing places. I will be sure to use the same place when I return next. We stayed in the two bed apartment right next to the Spanish steps. We couldn't have chosen a better location. It was very central and surrounded by restaurants, a bakery and a small supermarket. There was also a daily market in the square. No cars are allowed in the city gates so you could just about get anywhere walking. For the time of year it was very busy, we were surprised how many tourists there were, We met Maria and her male colleague on arrival who were extremely friendly, helpful and eager to assist. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We asked Isabelle to arrange the transfer to and from the airport which worked very well, both drivers were very knowledgeable and very proud of their beautiful city and surroundings. We recommend visiting Gruz the neighbouring port, it is an easy walk downhill and a little quieter than the city centre at midday. The many restaurants up in the old town away from the central square are not as expensive as the ones located in the square itself. The food choice would suit the most discerning customer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Dubrovnik, and the apartment and its location were a large part of the great time we had. The apartment is very central and in the flatter part of the old city, very close to the popular features. You can walk to anywhere within the city walls in 5-10 minutes depending on how many steps are along your route. Good restaurants are close by - one (Zuzori) was the best we ate in during our 4 week trip to Europe. The market square is outside the door and although it was a bit noisy early in the morning we didn't mind, and at night we were serenaded by live jazz from the Troubadour nearby which was a bonus. The apartment itself was excellent for 2 couples although the second bedroom has 2 single beds which may not suit everyone. There were a few items that needed improvement about which we advised Isabelle and she received our comments gratefully. We would recommend La Dolce Vita.
Note: light bulbs in ceiling will be replaced and additional mugs were brought in the apartment.

Thank you for a lovely 5 star stay in Dubrovnik! Pre-arrival communication and advice was excellent, and we were warmly met by Marie upon our arrival who oriented us to the old city, provided a map and lots of recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The apartment is even nicer than the photos convey. The air conditioning worked great, which was especially important given it was over 30 degrees every day! The location of the apartment was excellent as it is in the centre of old town and in a flat part of the town -- which is nice when carrying luggage for four! The daily cleaning service was also a really nice touch. Because you are in the heart of the city, some evenings we could hear music until quite late. It didn't interfere with our sleep, but I imagine it may impact other, lighter sleepers. It is really a lovely, lovely apartment. It was a real treat for us.

We spent 3 nights in the centrally located apartment, which was clean and spacious. Very welcoming when we arrived and apartment has all we needed. Parking is very expensive so avoid renting a car until after your stay in Dubrovnik

The host was very helpful, meeting my elderly parents at the gate and accompanying them to the apartment. Each day the apartment was cleaned and serviced by a friendly and helpful lady. The apartment is beautifullty decorated, clean and fresh. It is in an amazing location overlooking a sqaure where the morning market is held and there is also a supermarket. Yet it is a quiet location. For us an asset was minimal steps to get to the apartment. Thanks so much. We loved it in your apartment. I will come there next summer with my 2 friends.

Excellent apartment in center! Perfect location in the center of old town. Clean room, with everything even a extra pc/keyboard connected to the tv. Right outside the doorstep market with fresch berrys to complement the breakfast, and a food market within 50m. A littel bit of noice during the night, actually I (and the kids) didn't notice it at all, but my wife did use earplugs. But all in all definitly recommended!

Fantastic! Dolce Vita is a stunning 2 bed/bath in the centre of the old town. We have stayed here before and it is fantastic.We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning to return in September. The only comment I would make is that our daughter (light sleeper) found it a little noisy at night. My husband and I would not agree! However if you think it might be a problem then I would suggest you contact contact@butterflyservices.hr - we always book through them and they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they offer every type of rental accommodation.

We were very happy with our stay at this great apartment! Dolce Vita apartment is very nice, and located in a great spot within Dubrovnik. Everything is within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment is large and has all of the conveniences of home. Isabelle also arranged transportation to the apartment from the airport and then back to the airport at the end of the stay. This made our arrival and departure easy and without stress. Isabelle did a great job of communicating with us, responding to each email that we sent very quickly and reaching out to us to make sure that we were happy with the apartment after we checked in. We highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Dubrovnik and will look to stay here again if we get to return to Dubrovnik.

We stayed there for 3 nights. We were parents with our adult son and his girlfriend. The apartment is right in the heart of Dubrovnik. It was very clean, beautifully furnished and the location was the best you can find. In the mornings there is a small market right below and supermarket is really just few steps away.The noise didn't bother us, we came late and walked in the city a lot in the evenings. It is an amazing place. We really enjoyed it.

The apartment is located at the middle of old city. You can walk every where of old city and only 5 minutes walking is needed for Placa road. This apartment has spacious living room, 2 bed rooms and 2 bath rooms. It is enough for 4 adults. Every morning, grocery market is opened and Konzum is also located in front of the apartment. La Dolce vita apartment and had a wonderful time. All the fittings and furniture were modern and clean. Having a kitchen and washing machine were very useful, unfortunately the fridge door did not close properly. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal. The living area was very large with windows overlooking the square. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable. The location was fantastic, only a few minutes walk from Pile Gate. Right next to the apartment was an ATM, many cafes, a small bakery and a supermarket. Everything was in easy reach. The staff who look after the apartment were very helpful in meeting us promptly with the key. They also provided us with a map and spent time explaining the local area and providing tips about what to see, good places to eat etc. If you want to experience a stay right in the centre of the old town with everything within easy reach then this is the place. We had a fantastic stay.

Lovely apartment, couldn't have been better situated. The people who run the apartement were helpful and informative. Luckily I took them up on their offer for an airport transfer as the local buses only tie in with international flights and ours arrived an hour and a half late. The apartment had a large central reception room with a single bedroom at one end and a double at the other, both ensuite. We thought this was the perfect layout. Considering this town is filled with steep stairs, it was great that this apartment was only on the first floor, overlooking a square which had a small local market every morning, as well as a mini supermarket and bakers. Perfect.

Every morning there was a small market in the little square in front of the apartment that we used to buy fresh cheeses and fruit for breakfast. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable and light with every facility you need. The noise at night from the cafes below wasn't a big deal for us, and was finished by late evening. I agree with a previous review said says it is a small trade off for staying in the old town. The hosts Viktor and Isabelle went out of their way to help us and suggest great day trips to islands close by. I would definitely stay here again”.

“Very new apartment & excellent location in the Old town. La Dolce Vita apartment was a very new decorated apartment inside the old town. We found it very comfortable. Viktor had giving us very good advice on activity. The location is also excellent- central but quiet. We can walk to the apartment from both Pile & Ploce gate ard 5 min(but I personally prefer to walk from pile gate as I had more luggage). The market is just right beside the market & you can find fresh fruit in the morning. There are also some nice restaurants in that square. The only downside is that the only air-cond in the living room. I guess this is not a big problem as I found that this is very common in most of the apartment in Croatia. I definitely will return to this apartment next time when I am in Dubrovnik.

We recently stayed in this beautiful apartment La Dolce Vita when visiting Dubrovnik. It is in a wonderful location - approximately 30 steps from the old town's main square - and overlooks a nice market in the mornings. The apartment was beautiful, modern and clean. It came with great amenities such as air-conditioning (which is not all that common in Croatia), a washing machine and fast WiFi. All linens and an ample number of towels were also provided and the kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of common space to relax in. The people who managed the property were extremely helpful and had no problem answering my many questions. They escort you right to the apartment as well, which is nice as the old town isn't that easy to navigate when you first arrive. There is also a place to store your baggage in case you arrive in town before check-in or leave after check-out, however, check-in and check-out times are also pretty flexible. The managers were also very helpful in recommending things to do and places to go while in Dubrovnik and provided maps and coupons for activities. They arranged for us a great day at sea as well which was extremely reasonable in price and a highlight of our trip. If I ever return to Dubrovnik I will definitely stay here again“ .

La Dolce Vita apartment was just right - very spacious, clean and central so we could pop back at any time and didn't have to worry about making sure we had everything with us for the whole day. The transfer was very convenient and great to be met and taken to the property once in Dubrovnik. The car was very comfortable. Generally a very enjoyable holiday much enhanced by your very helpful booking process, provision of information and fantastic apartment. Unfortunately we were unable to go on the planned boat trip on Monday due to the stormy weather but we went up the cable car instead, took a short boat trip around Lokrum island and spent the rest of the afternoon at Buza 2. “ La Dolce Vita apartment was of a standard of a 4/5* hotel with the convenience of being able to control our environment such that we felt at home. Location was perfect and we found a superb restaurant at the top of the stairs to the right of the apartment. Here location and food were second to none and we wish we had found it earlier. Apartment comfort was good, although we found the TV and satellite a little difficult to navigate at first but perhaps that was due to holiday mode!.The transfer was excellent and matched the apartment; a comfortable chauffeur driven car was a lovely start to the holiday. Viktor met us and gave a nice guided tour on the way to the apartment and again this was appreciated.The general admin and description of the apartment was helpful and in fact we spoke to Isabelle before coming and this contact was welcomed. We can find little fault was the overall experience, apart from this being too short a stay, in fact the advice given by Victor on where to eat when we took a boat trip further up the coast was again very good and summed up the welcoming and positive approach taken by both Isabelle and Viktor, thank you to both of you.”
