This amazing historic house (built in 1938) is on the list of protected monuments as a house of exceptional architectural value built between the two World Wars. Villa La Pausa nurtures the concept of interesting and functional spatial design where all interior design elements come from famous international and Croatian designers (Charles & Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen, Jean Prouvé, Eileen Gray, Foruse, Konstantin Grcic, Hee Welling, Otto Blümel, Maarten Van Severen, Grupa Numen/For Use etc.). The artistic paintings in the villa are all works by artist Nikolina Šimunovic.
Spread across 470m2, it is bright, spacious and fully furnished. Everything has been chosen with comfort and relaxation in mind. Villa La Pausa has 5 designer bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and accommodates up to 13 guests.
On the ground floor there is a large kitchen, a dining area where guests can enjoy traditional food, a living room, a bedroom with two beds, an en suite bathroom and a family bathroom.
The first floor has a beautifully designed bedroom with an en suite bathroom, living room and dining room. On this floor, especially in the living room, guests will experience life as it has been in this villa for many decades.
The second floor has 2 designer bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a balcony where guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the island of Lokrum and the historic old town, there is also a lobby, a sauna with a shower room, and a mirror room with a luxury bathtub, the mirror room is connected to the attic.
The attic contains a beautifully designed bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a book corner where book lovers can relax and enjoy reading fine literature.
