Many thanks Isabelle! We had a lovely stay. Very happy with the apartment!Spacious apartment in a perfect location
Helen, September 2018
Superb location with really good and spacious facilities, and attentive hosts. Very central location. Difficult to be better. Generous size , we managed a genteel party with 33 people in the lounge/diner/kitchen area. Availability of host. Good contact beforehand, met us on arrival and available through What's App during our stay. Secret III is on second floor, 55 steps - a bit daunting, but you are unlikely to get a ground floor apartment in Old Town Dubrovnik.
Kenneth, June 2018
Wonderfully spacious apartment right in the heart if the old town. We were met by Maria who was very friendly, helpful and informative. Two features of these apartments that some people may regard as drawbacks (we didn’t). First, our apartment (Secret Apartment III) was reachable only up two long flights of stairs - and there is one more small flight in the apartment. Second, while the double-glazing offers good sound-proofing from the city noises, it is defenceless against the bells of St Blaise’s which are directly across the street. They are not rung too regularly, but once at 8:00, which was interesting... If you can cope with these features, then you will have a wonderful time here in the heart of the Old City.

This is a self-catering apartment and should not be compared to a hotel. We ordered transfer from the airport and back, which worked fine. The apartment is spacious with the bedroom and bathroom on one level and living-room with kitchen on the other level. All rooms are big. Heating / AC and wi-fi worked fine. It was cold during our stay and we missed heating in the bathroom, but this should not be a problem in summer. The location is great in the centre of the old town. The building is on main street level, not in the steep sides of the town, which means there are stairs only inside the building, not to reach it.
Ingunn and Dag, March 2018
The apartment was in a perfect location within the 'old town' of Dubrovnik, we had a great time walking at all hours of the day and night, always felt perfectly safe and could enjoy everything happening in the square and streets below. Dubrovnik is a gem and bursting with beautiful restaurants, wine, views, cats and suprises! We loved every minute of our stay and this location.
Catherine, October 2017
Great apartment in a great location. Communication with Ana to arrange meeting time was easy, and I felt she was always available to answer any questions I might send her (though I didn't need to!). Like most places in Dubrovnik steps are involved! Apartment is spacious, with all necessary amenities, and being on two levels makes it feel very special. And one could hardly be more central!
Seth, September 2017
The apartment is amazing. Centrally located, brand new, very neat and tidy. The only thing to note is that there is no lift in this premise but I could live with that given the price and quality of the apartment. Nothing more that I could ask for :) Thank you very much for hosting us.
Nga Lee Yin, July 2017
Everything was as expected and the facilities and cleanliness of the apartment were first class. The transfer and check in process was seamless with Anna & Isabelle providing a high level of service and general information. The location was very convenient and perhaps the only suggestion for improvement would be to provide initial bathroom supplies
TripAdvisor review, June 2017
Ana came and met us on arrival to walk us to the apartment and show us around. It was perfect- much larger than expected, over two floors with all amnesties needed. We felt like locals with our beautiful, central 'home' to go back to each day. The views from the windows over the rooftops of Dubrovnik were amazing.
Claire, June 2017
Fabulous apartment in a fabulous city. Fabulous location - incredibly central in an atmospheric old building with great rooftop views. Wonderfully helpful staff
Sanj, June 2017
We enjoyed a week at this well equipped apartment. The best feature was the large floor plan with two levels and well equipped kitchen. Furnishings are a little dated but clean and in the centre of the old town. The three floor walk-up may be a concern for some, but view from top floor of the local church steeple was worth the walk.
Gary, October 2016
The apartment was perfect and so centrally located... you could not be anymore closer to the feel of the old city...It was great waving the day trippers goodbye. .. the apartment was very well appointed and very comfortable we really enjoyed our stay. ..Ana was great ... she met us at the gate to the old city and walked us to the apartment. .. she was very informative and professional. .. Ana was a perfect host..

Stunning! Fabulous central location Great view over rooftops of city Would stay here again
Chimeta, September 2016
Ana was my contact person and she was awesome! She arranged pick up from the airport, which I HIGHLY recommend. The driver was waiting with my name on a sign, then Ana met us at the gate of Old Town and she walked us to the apartment. She was available via text to arrange tours and transfer back to the airport. The location of the apartment was PERFECT. We were right in the middle of all the action AND the room was quiet and comfortable. The values for the money was hard to believe. GREAT VALUE. I would def return.

What a great apartment to stay in. The location, right in the heart of the old town, is really worth paying a little bit more for. We were smug every time we went back to the flat. Everything you want is within very close walking distance. The quality of the apartment is also very high, finished beautifully and very spacious. Kitchen and living space is a welcome addition as allows you to relax and enjoy time in the flat before / after sightseeing. Would really recommend staying here...
Tom, August 2016
We absolutely loved our stay at secret 3. It was the perfect location and allowed us to pop home for a drink or rest etc. The apartment was perfectly kitted out with everything we could need including lots of clean towels and fully equipped kitchen and nice cold air conditioning. I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to dubrovnik. Also, the information that Ana gave us on arrival was so incredibly helpful!
Debra, July 2016
Perfect location and live classical music in afternoons. I have already recommended it to someone I met on the plane who is going to Dubrovnik in September. We stayed in the 2 level, 1 bedroom apartment that overlooks the square. Every afternoon we opened the windows to enjoy the free concert with cello and guitar below us. The location could not be better. 2 minute walk to farmer's market daily, close to all sites and restaurants in Old Town. Isabelle is terrific at coordinating and assisting. I would stay here again.

Isabelle, We are very much enjoying the apartment. Petar was a wonderful tour guide. Thank you for making our trip so pleasant and easy. I will recommend you and Petar to my friends.

Our stay at Secret Apartments was amazing from start to finish. From the pickup at the airport to being met by Ana and her providing information about our stay and the trips we could make was all excellent. Ana was a lovely guide and we knew we could contact you for anything. The apartment was stunning and the location was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik and look forward to returning in the future and would definitely stay again at Secret Apartments. Please thank Ana for her wonderful advise it really helped us from start to finish. Thanks very much

Excellent apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik. Clean, upscale, comfortable Next to the main Square. Great communication with host and assistant.fully equipped kitchen. excellent wifi. Highly recommended.
Richard, May 2016
Charming old world loft inside the city walls. We loved our stay here! It was a perfect location to explore the old town and just enjoy this quaint, beautiful city. The host was wonderful! We texted him from the airport and he met us in the square just outside the building. He gave us a number of excellent recommendations for local food and drinks. We never used the kitchen, there were too many places to eat and drink right outside our door - but for those who want to, the option is there. The place is very clean and fully equipped. The views are gorgeous, all the old roof tops and the church. I don't usually stay in apartments, I prefer boutique hotels and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the old town and not in a hotel, it was really perfect and added to our experience!
Trip Advisor review, September 2015
We loved staying at the Secret Apartments in Dubrovnik. The location in the center of town was great, the size/layout of the apartment was really nice, and we thought it was a very comfortable place to stay. It was a pleasure meeting you and we sincerely appreciate the suggestions provided for things to see/do in town. Wish that we could have stayed longer! We will pass your information on to friends of ours who may be visiting Croatia next year. Thanks again!

Could not have chosen a better place to stay!! Absolutely perfect apartment for our four nights in Dubrovnik. We had debated staying outside the old city, nearer to abeach, but we are so pleased we chose this location. Literally right in the heart of the old city... We had everything we came for on our doorstep; sightseeing, restaurants, bars, the harbour... Everything! Despite this, we slept beautifully and the noise of the street was not a disturbance at all. The apartment itself was immaculate and stunning. The views from every window were spectacular and the interior was luxurious and felt like a real treat. Air con was very welcome, wifi useful and the facilities perfect. Victor and Isabelle were welcoming and helpful, offered great advice and kept in touch throughout our stay to ensure all was well. Literally the best city apartment we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing trip!!
Trip Advisor review, July 2015
Amazing place and location! I could not have hoped for more from Secret Apartments. It was a beautifully furnished, clean apartment in a brilliant location - right in the Old Town near to everything. The beds were really comfy and kitchen very well equipped. Viktor and Isabelle were absolutely lovely and so helpful offering advice on car hire etc by email. It also has good wifi, which is always useful! I would recommend anyone to stay here - couples or friends/families. Couldn't really recommend it highly enough!

Dear Isabelle and Viktor, We thank you very much for your arrangement. During our stay here for 5 days, we have really enjoyed ourselves here in the world heritage places. We walk up and down along the way to Fort Imperial, walked through Gruz, Babin Kuk, Lapad and Pile through walking routes on the beach. We are sad to leave your beautiful appartement. Thank you!
Tsunehiro, June 2015
Isabelle, Though the property is not inexpensive, we found it, overall, good value for money. We had no complaints and would happily recommend your property and its surround services.

Hi Isabel and Victor, We had a wonderful stay in your wonderful apartment. Thank you for your hospitality.
Lindsay, September 2014
I'm now back after my tour around the Balkans. Just wanted to say thanks for making my stay in Dubrovnik enjoyable. The arrangements for meeting up on the first day worked fine and all the info in the book in the apartment was v useful. Also being able to leave my bags with you in the office on my final day was a great help. Viktor was very helpful and always smiling and happy to share his love of the city and recommendations on things to do which you don't often get at other accommodation places. Keep up the enthusiasm - it's infectious! The apartment was lovely - the only things that I feel could maybe recommend as minor improvements would be a bath mat and maybe a simple chair in the bedroom to be able to put clothes etc on overnight. Other than that it was lovely and a home from home and if I had to find somewhere to spend a few hours during all the thunderstorms then the apartment was certainly a welcome place to be!! Many thanks
Liz, September 2014
Bonjour Viktor, je ne parle qu'en bien de mon séjour dans votre appartement. Votre accueil était vraiment très sympa et vos conseils très appréciés. Je vous souhaite le meilleur pour vos futures entreprises.
Luc, September 2014
We stayed in secret apartment 3
which is on the top floor of an historic building in the centre of Dubrovnik's old town, overlooking the St. Blaise church. The apartment is on two floors with an open-plan living and kitchen area on the upper floor and a bedroom and bathroom on the lower floor. The apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed for our three night break. The air conditioning is excellent and much needed in the summer months. Our hosts were extremely helpful and met our taxi outside the town walls and guided us to the apartment. Based on our research the apartment is priced very reasonably given its central location. Just a few things to note: - Secret III is on the top floor and you have to climb about 50 steps to get to it. Not a problem for us but something to bear in mind if you have limited mobility - Dubrovnik is a lively city with music, church bells, and the sounds of revelry well into the night. If you're looking for total peace and quiet then the old town may not be the place for you
Trip Advisor review, September 2014
I love the apartment. The location was amazing in the center of the Old Town!
Brooke, August 2014
This quirky, charming apartment is within the old city walls of Dubrovnik, near St Blaise church. There is a fruit and veg market, a supermarket and plenty of restaurants nearby. Having a basic kitchen is useful, as well as a dining and sitting area. The only potential disadvantage is the 55 stairs to apartment 3, and another flight inside. It's fine for the fit and healthy but wouldn't be suitable for anyone who struggles with stairs. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was well equipped. I thought the pillows were too thin but otherwise it was excellent. I'd be happy to stay there again and will happily recommend it.
TripAdvisor review, June 2014
The apartment is fantastic, Viktor and Isabelle from Dubrovnik Chic Apartments - Butterfly Services are extremely kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Great at recommending local attractions and eating/drinking venues. My husband and I have traveled all over the world but have never returned to the same place twice. However this was our 6th visit to Dubrovnik and we returned on Friday 6th June and today Sunday 8th June we have just booked another holiday! We have also stayed 4 times at the MirÓ Studio Apartments - I would recommend this if you want perfect peace! but still only 2 minutes away from the Old Town. However, we preferred the location of Secret 111 because we enjoyed the atmosphere of being in the thick of it and we left our windows open in the evening and enjoyed the music from a street guitarist and a band flooding into our apartment. Whatever type of accommodation and location you are looking for then you can be sure that Viktor and Isabelle will find the perfect place for you.
Trip Advisor review, June 2014
We stayed in the Secret Apartment
in Old Town Dubrovnik. The #3 is on 2 floors, bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd floor and the kitchen and lounge is another few stairs above that. The apartment to very nice and a nicely stocked kitchen. It is right next to the St. Blaise Church, in fact you might get a shock when you are lying in bed and the bells ring. The owners Isabelle and Viktor are so helpful and always responded to emails in a timely fashion. I think I would be tempted to not stay in Old Town Dubrovnik again as it is just was too much like Disney with all the tourist, I would prefer to stay in one of the other villages and take a bus to the old town. BUT - if I ever did stay in Old Town again, it would be at the Secret Apartments. They are excellent.
Sharon, May 2014
Hello Viktor! Thanks again for the awesome place to stay!
Chris, May 2014
“Visitors to Dubrovnik could not wish to find a more perfect apartment in this beautiful medieval city. Situated in an old building next to the Church of St Blaise & busy central square, our apartment Secret III was located on the third floor - so could be a little taxing if carrying heavy bags! We spent 3 nights in this lovely apartment in the centre of the old city. It's extremely spacious with a good size bathroom, large double bedroom & upstairs; an open plan kitchen, dining & cosy lounge areas. All rooms are pleasantly furnished, clean & well equipped. Although centrally situated, unwanted noise was not a problem unless visitors dislike the sound of the Spanish guitar wafting up to the apartment each night from the restaurant below! On our arrival we were met at the entrance gate to the old city walls by Viktor who took us to our apartment. His knowledge of the city & tips for the best places to eat & drink (& what to avoid) were invaluable to us during our stay. We loved every minute”.

“We stayed in the Secrets III
Duplex apartment in early October. The bedroom and bathroom are on the lower floor with the open plan living room in the upper storey which is actually the roof space of this lovely old building. It was lovely, clean and well appointed. The open plan kitchen was fine and you could have self catered with no problem other than you are surrounded by great places to eat all over Dubrovnik. The location is fantastic, absolutely at the heart of the old town, so no walking up and down the steep sides of the city. It is right next to St. Blaise church but beware the bells! and those of the Cathedral that bong out of sync with those of the church. Other than that the apartment is extremely quiet. It is on the top floor so there are a few steps to climb if that is an issue for you. Our flight arrived extremely early and we had asked for an early booking in if that was possible. Sorted easily and we arranged to meet a staff member at a nearby statue, really friendly and efficient. I had read the reviews prior to going but the apartment was actually better than expected. (Only gripe being no hook for the shower hose so had to hold it over our heads). Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of a historic location“.

“We stayed in the Secret apartments
for 1 week and had rented two of the apartments. Seriously, we have no complaints at all about these. Before travelling our correspondence with Isabella and Viktor was excellent with very quick responses. On arrival we had arranged a taxi transfer which was friendly, prompt and very efficient and our meet with Viktor to reach our apartment was also very easy and smooth. We were provided with maps and plenty of tips on where to eat and visit, all of which were good. On to the accommodation itself, the two apartments that we rented were beautiful. Very well laid out and huge in size. The location was absolutely spot on. Right next to St Blaise Cathedral and if you looked sideways, onto the Stradun. Surprisingly noise was not an issue in the evening, even although it remained busy until about one o'clock. The apartments themselves are within an old renovated building entered by a stairway among the local restaurants. The stairway itself could be described as a little rickety but that added to the charm”.

“ Dear Viktor, We loved our stay in Dubrovnik and particularly at the Secrets 111 apartment, which was superb in every way. We want to thank you so much for looking after us so beautifully. You were superb in every way. Very helpful, informative and professional. We will definitely recommend these apartments to friends wishing to visit Dubrovnik.”

“We loved our stay at Secret Apartment as it was very centrally situated yet not noisy. We had a classic guitarist playing at a restaurant beneath us which we loved. The room is incredibly spacious with a further floor above you where the kitchen and TV area are situated. The apartment was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to any visitor to Dubrovnik. Very charming and professional service also.“

“Quaint, atmospheric apartments in a great location. Secret III is well equipped, comfortable and spacious. We booked our transfers to and from the airport with Isabelle - it was punctual and reliable both ways. We were met by Victor on arrival at the Ploce gate (cars not allowed through) and he kindly took one of our suitcases, and the same on the return journey - he remained with us until our transport arrived. As another booking wasn't due until the evening on our day of departure, Viktor kindly let us leave our luggage in the apartment as our flight was in the evening. Within the walls really is beautiful, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartments. However there are a few observations I would like to make. It is noisy even with the windows closed - there is a restaurant and guitar player beneath the apartments, the church bells/clock announce the hour and half hour 24 hours a day. I don't mean to sound miserable about this, it's part of the general 'old world' charm, but it may be useful for some people to know. There are lots of steps to the top 2 Secret Apartments making it difficult for those less mobile and some of the handrail is broken with some parts missing. My elderly mother really did struggle and felt a little unsafe where the handrail was broken. I realise these buidings are very old so there are, of course, going to be some drawbacks - but these can be overlooked by the pleasure you take in their originality and authenticity. We would have liked a blind that covered the window in the bathroom even though we weren't overlooked. All in all, we had a lovely break and enjoyed our time in the apartments”.
Trip Advisor review, May 2013
We booked to stay at the Secret Apartment III after seeing the beautiful photos online and reading great reviews - our expectations were high and the apartment did not disappoint. It is situated at the top of an ancient building which is right in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town. The location is perfect - situated just off the main street and surrounded by restaurants, shops and the most iconic buildings in the old town such as the Cathedral. We could not have been in a better location for making the most of Dubrovnik - with our front door being just seconds away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, the beautiful harbour, the markets and all the tourist hot spots. Once inside the apartment you have peace and quiet apart from the atmospheric sounds like the church bells and the sound of street performers playing guitar in the evenings. There was certainly no problem with noise and we both slept very peacefully every night. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated and furnished. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay (and probably more). The air-con was fantastic and worked brilliantly throughout the apartment. Viktor was very helpful and ensured our transfers went smoothly which really made all the difference. We'd love to return to the Secret Apartments and would certainly recommend this to other travellers
TripAdvisor review , September 2012
We spent the second week of our holiday in the Secret Apartments and it was a great way to spend the week. We visited Dubrovnik to get married and this was a perfect base for us to do all the trips we wanted to do. The main bedroom overlooked the beautiful church which was an excellent view and location...until 7am on Sunday morning and the bells begin ringing!!! Lounge area was perfect for relaxing as well. Viktor was a great host as well and couldn't be more accommodating.
